Amenity Analytics is seeking a Senior Account Manager, to come and join a cognitive computing start up in New York City.
 
Amenity utilizes proprietary natural language processing technology and cutting edge machine learning techniques to empower today's most dynamic organizations to extract insights and signals hidden in text. With the flexibility to analyze news, social media, regulatory filings, research reports and more, we can transform information overload into concrete insights and actionable intelligence.
 
 
The Senior Account Manager will manage a portfolio of our most significant relationships.  He/she will serve as a consultant to existing accounts and as a customer advocate within Amenity.  The Senior Account Manager will develop an in-depth understanding of each customer’s organization and industry and will work across Amenity to drive, develop and implement projects that deepen client relationships.  The Senior Account Manager will share individual customer perspectives while advocating and prioritizing the development of capabilities that benefit the entire customer portfolio.
 
 
The Senior Account Manager will be responsible for both managing the day-to-day customer relationships and building the strategy to drive revenue growth and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

    • Establish and build strong relationships with clients. Create consistent interaction with clients regarding their business, industry, marketplace & consistent communication of the Amenity value story.
    • Elevate, deepen/broaden C-level and functional relationships within each account in portfolio and maintain a thorough and up-to-date understanding of each client’s business, goals and projects.
    • Manage day-to-day issues (i.e. operations, reporting, inquiries) and track and evaluate business results for each client.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans for each account to improve operational efficiencies, meet client goals and increase relevance and engagement
    • Provide proactive consultation to expand client relationships, drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction. 
    • Engage customers to participate in Amenity marketing (logo, testimonial, case study, references and referrals)
    • Work with internal groups (Text AI, R&D, Customer Success, Marketing) to expand/renew contracts and resolve business issue that impacts current client relationships
    • Identify and build a pipeline of cross-sell opportunities to increase the revenue contribution of each client relationship and to improve client satisfaction
    • Deliver against quantifiable scorecard 

Qualifications

    • Highly customer-focused and results-driven self-starter
    • Minimum 5 years of proven success in strategic account management & consultative selling.
    • Proven ability to establish, maintain and deepen internal and external relationships, influence decision-makers and drive revenue.
    • Must have the ability to build a value proposition through effective probing and understanding of the customer & the ability to prepare financial and quantitative analysis
    • Strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills including the ability to build rapport and credibility
    • Excellent oral/written communication skills and proficient in MS Office applications
    • Strong attention to detail and an ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to navigate through ambiguity
    • Demonstrated track record of driving results; entrepreneurial approach to business
    • Experience working across functions and executive levels
    • Team player who enjoys working in a fun, smart, fast-paced and dynamic environment
    • MBA preferred
