Member Success Specialist at K4Connect

Job Description

We are looking for a caring, focused, and passionate person who is excited about technology and how it can serve the underserved. You’ll be joining a support team built to provide our members and customers with a world-class support experience. The Member Success Specialist will be responsible for fielding inquiries and feedback by phone, email, and in-app messaging as well as teaming with Operations and other functional areas to document and resolve reported problems.

About the Position:

  • Must be very technologically literate and able to learn new concepts quickly
  • Flexibility with work responsibilities required as we scale the team over time
  • Work with Member Success Lead to build on and improve established processes and best practices allowing for team expansion over time  
  • Communicate ways in which our product and member support experience can be improved based on feedback and reported issues from members and customers
  • Think proactively about ways in which members’ and customers’ problems can be solved before they are noticed
  • Answer inquiries with a smile that can be felt through the phone or written communication and be able to interact compassionately and patiently with a clientele who will likely need time and coaching as they learn to benefit from technology that is unfamiliar to them
  • Capitalize on time not spent working inquiries by learning and generating improvements on existing processes and best practices


Position Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of call center operations or other customer-facing service experience
  • Technical savvy that allows for understanding how new, developing technologies work
  • A curiosity to know more about how things work “under the hood”
  • A people person who is well-spoken but also a great listener and problem solver
  • An excellent written communicator - brief, clear, positive, and grammatically correct
  • Someone who believes great customer support can turn a bad experience into a positive one
  • Willingness to give individual members and customers the time and attention they need and to go above and beyond when necessary
  • 1st and 2nd shift positions available – please be prepared to clarify your interest and availability for each

Other Qualifications:

  • Comfortable with working in a startup environment, with a willingness to participate beyond their core job responsibilities
  • Creative and innovative
  • Risk tolerant, willing to give ideas a try (then try again)
  • Strong personality, willing to push forward ideas, yet a team player
