Sales Development Representative at Gamalon

Gamalon is a fast-paced startup in Kendall Square Cambridge, MA. We were recognized by the MIT Technology Review as one of the “50 Smartest Companies” for 2017. With over $30 million in funding including the largest grant DARPA has ever given for development of next generation Artificial Intelligence, Gamalon has demonstrated a new level of speed and scale at which AI can learn new ideas from natural language. Using our Idea Learning technology, our products provide companies with deep understanding of what customers are saying, and enables 1 to 1 customer experiences and actions. 

Gamalon is now poised for rapid expansion. We’ve seen strong success with early customers, and we have the partners and resources available to blow it out. 
 
Role Description:
Lead Qualification and Appointment Setting
  • Understand and Identify prospects
  • Efficiently execute on outbound calling campaigns
  • Set up meetings, coordinate resources, and manage calendar invites and reminders
 
Estimated Activity:
  • Expect a high volume of outbound activity in regards to calls, emails, research, etc…  as well as record activity, pipeline progress, and maintain data quality in our customer relationship management system and our marketing automation system.
 
Requirements:
  • Persistent and tenacious attitude for cold calling, responding to inquiries, and managing sales cycles
  • Effective organizational, time and task management skills, with the ability to work independently
  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, web conferencing, and other similar business applications and/or related experience proving the ability to learn these applications
  • Ability to converse and communicate with enterprise organizations, Business Executives, and IT teams
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Ability to understand technology components and how they work together relative to our offering
  • Solid understanding of social media tools/resources and how to use these assets related to business
  • Start-up friendly demeanor with the ability to work with ambiguity and roll up your sleeves to fill holes 
  • Successfully completed a college degree
  • 2+ years of business experience
  • Authorized to work in the US 


Compensation is a combination of base salary and commissions related to components such as: number of closed appointments, revenue, new customer acquisition, and other relevant activity. Comprehensive healthcare (including dental and vision) and parental leave benefits.
