Responsibilities & Qualifications

    • Experience working on licensing, e-commerce, service and development agreements and preferably, distributions transactions
    • Provide insight and be able to advise on the intellectual property aspects of mergers and acquisitions and on privacy and data security matters
    • Be able to provide day to day advice on a wide range of subject matter (including confidentiality, data privacy, deal shaping and negotiation strategy, regulatory, employment, IP, general commercial and risk management)
    • Needs to be highly commercially, knowing when to challenge the business and where legal issues are likely to arise, even if they are not necessarily familiar with the subject matter themselves
    • Be confident enough to be the only attorney in the London office for a period of time with ongoing management and support from the legal department in New York
    • Must be qualified as a UK attorney and have knowledge of European legal systems
    • Excellent academic credentials with 5-7 years of experience at a top law firm or in-house financial or technology company
    • Knowledge of the blockchain and related sectors from a legal perspective
