Senior Manager, Field and Channel Marketing at Vectra Networks
North America

We are looking for an experienced field and channel marketing manager who plans and executes marketing and partner events flawlessly.  He/she will work very closely with the channel partners, the channel sales team, marketing team, and other functional areas to support and accelerate pipeline via all field and channel marketing activities. He/she will be directly responsible for joint marketing programs, channel demand generation, partner launch activities, partner event management, and partner communications. The candidate must be entrepreneurial and ready to roll up their sleeves while working in a fast-paced environment.


This position requires an execution focused team-player, who is able to think strategically and manage tactical detail, is both creative and analytical, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will craft field marketing plans that raise awareness of Vectra Networks, build momentum with partners, and generate sales leads.


Key Responsibilities

  • Accountable and responsible for the successful planning and execution of the Americas field and channel marketing program.
    • Align with the Regional Sales VPs to define field and channel marketing programs to meet are meeting expectations
    • Own and manage the Marketing Development Funds program, including request review, approval of funds and track program effectiveness against key performance indicators
  • Own and manage field and channel marketing for AMS; Own customer events such as customer advisory council and annual user group
    • Execute branded, sponsored and channel partner events as well as field and channel campaigns to drive demand and accelerate pipeline
    • Plan and execute annual field marketing plan focused on exceeding Marketing KPIs


  • Track program and event results, measuring program success, and reporting metrics via Salesforce



Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field required
  • Must have 3 – 5 years field and channel marketing experience supporting field sales and channel partners
  • Experience implementing, innovative and creative marketing events that generate new opportunities and accelerate existing opportunities
  • Previous experience managing a budget that aligns with goals
  • Excellent collaboration skills working cross-functionally with sales organization, marketing, peers and channel teams
  • Strong decision-making skills, problem-solving capabilities and ability to see the big picture and alignment to sales and marketing opportunities
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills: lead cross-functional teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule
  • Experience in tracking and measuring marketing events, programs and ROI
  • Experience in the fast-paced cybersecurity industry is a bonus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel 20-25%
