Senior Recruiter at Volocopter

ABOUT US
We at Volocopter are building the world’s first manned fully electric and safe air taxis. With the Volocopter we will redefine the way people move in cities and make humanity’s dream of personal flight come true. As pioneers in this field, we wrote aviation history in 2011 with the first ever manned flight of a multicopter. This feat was followed by milestones like the first license and the worldwide first autonomous flight in a mega city (www.volocopter.com).
 
YOUR TASKS
  • Find and hire the best worldwide talent for all open positions at Volocopter
  • Develop and implement the overall recruitment strategies (active and passive), tactics, funnels and procedures
  • Build networks to find qualified candidates, source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media etc.
  • Build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
  • Work as liaison between management and the whole team
  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives
  • Screen candidates, conduct interviews, use selection tools to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
  • Onboard new employees in order to become fully integrated
REQUIREMENTS
  • 3-5 years proven work experience as a Recruiter (either as in-house recruiter, a staffing agency recruiter, assistant to the CEO with HR responsibility or Chief of Staff)
  • Strong ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress etc.)
  • Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference check etc.)
  • Ability to organize skills assessment centers (in tray activities, work samples, psychometric and IQ/EQ tests, etc.)
  • Strive for excellence and hands-on mentality
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Previous work experience in high-growth companies
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills, very good English and German skills (written and spoken)
  • Strong decision-making skills
  • Experience in building team of Junior Recruiters (coaching and leading personnel) desired
