We are looking for

A creative and passionate B2B marketing leader to increase the visibility of INRIX in EMEA and drive sales by building awareness through media outlets, generating demand and influencing opportunities.

This is a stand alone role reporting to the VP Marketing in Kirkland. The Marketing & PR Director will be responsible for developing and executing a wide range of marketing communications activities to increase brand awareness, improve lead quality, customer conversion, and ultimately revenue.

The ideal candidate will make an immediate impact delivering results for the EMEA business and must be able to work to a high standard at both strategic and tactical levels. This role would suit someone looking for a step up into a Director role or someone who enjoys being a strong, senior individual contributor.

This position will be based in London, UK and reports directly to the VP Marketing in Seattle, Washington.



Primary Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic marketing plan to deliver campaigns for all stages of the sales funnel. This includes generating new leads, nurturing them to marketing qualified leads (MQL’s), creating bottom-funnel programmes to convert MQLs to opportunities and provide late-stage opportunity support to help close deals.
Create and manage targeted sales tools that help drive leads and close opportunities, to include: new content (case studies, blogs, videos, infographics), marketing automation, newsletters, webinars, events, social activities and more.
Measure campaign execution and performance in Pardot/Salesforce, providing monthly and quarterly metrics to marketing and sales leadership.
Manage the EMEA events programme and raise the bar at industry trade shows through event marketing that secures customer and prospect meetings leading to new business opportunities
Work closely with the Global PR lead to develop and implement a comprehensive global communications plan, with specific strategies and actions.
Develop and pitch newsworthy and creative stories to drive awareness in the most influential dailies, tech and trade outlets in the UK and Germany. Each year, INRIX secures thousands of articles in publications such as Automobilwiche, Auto Motor und Sport, BBC, Bild, Daily Mail, Financial Times, Sky News and The Times.
Manage relationships with the media and speak directly for the Company in major media interviews, tradeshow speaking opportunities and industry events.
Monitor coverage of the Company in newspapers, industry publications, blogs, etc. and recommend ways to improve the Company’s overall media effectiveness
Act as a liaison between Manchester, EMEA and US operations. Engage with senior colleagues across the business and act as a strong ambassador for the EMEA region.
Work closely with INRIX Research to produce world-class and highly newsworthy content for increasing brand awareness and thought leadership in EMEA. INRIX Research uses INRIX data from 300 million connected cars and devices to produce content such as the Global Traffic Scorecard, which this year drove 2000+ articles, 100k visitors to INRIX.com, thousands of leads and positioned INRIX as the world’s leading provider of traffic information.

Candidates should possess

Director level B2B technology experience overseeing a breadth of marketing responsibilities
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, or related field
Strong international experience required
Enthusiasm, optimism and decisiveness: we are looking for a candidate with an inspiring and adaptable leadership style, able to communicate a clear vision and direction to the EMEA team and peers in the US
Be a self-starter and thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
Strong presentation, public speaking skills to a variety of audiences – industry associations, trade groups and major media outlets and publications
Proven ability to build and motivate teams to deliver on a global scale; understanding of cultural nuances
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrable digital marketing experience with an emphasis in social media
Willingness to travel at least 10% for customer events and partner meetings, globally
Experience in developing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple touch mediums
Experience with Salesforce and the Pardot marketing automation platforms, or similar
Experience of marketing to the automotive, public sector and enterprise industries a plus
Languages – Fluent English (and German a plus)
