Job Description:

The Product Marketing Manager will play a large role in marketing this platform, and acts as a liaison between the product, science, brand, sales and marketing teams to deliver relevant and valuable messages to the market.

We’re looking for an experienced individual who can produce compelling marketing and sales assets, influence strategic positioning, and execute an innovative curriculum for proactively educating and re-educating True Fit’s entire Go-to-Market (GTM) team about our products. They’ll work collaboratively between marketing, product, exec team, and GTM to ensure everyone in the organization is in sync on messaging, timing, features, and benefits of our entire product suite. And as product initiatives, timing, availability, etc change from time to time, this individual will have a plan to help update the company, update assets, and proactively train the team. You’ll also collaborate on all of the thought leadership content we’re producing to ensure we’re maximizing our positioning and accurately portraying products within that content. We want this individual to think outside the box and even contemplate ideas for creating a dynamic curriculum for training and even rating the field in terms of its product knowledge on a continuous basis to make sure overall product knowledge remains high and improves over time. This person will also help create training videos assets like product demo videos, product data sheets, and other GTM content.

In this role, the Product Marketing Manager can also expect to:

Collaborate with sales to understand, define, and solve customer needs on an individual basis
Build value-driven messaging and develop supporting sales enablement
Lead cross-functional product launches; develop messaging, deliver internal and external briefings, help drive adoption of new products
Evangelize and educate on product internally and externally
Research, build and maintain competitive differentiation messaging and assets
Create relevant content such as demo videos, case studies, blog posts, data sheets, etc.
The Product Marketing Manager must be:

An outstanding communicator who is comfortable interacting with a diverse group of technical and non-technical people, including senior execs, sales, marketing, development, partners and clients
Able to understand technical language and communicate that in market in a relevant way to our target accounts.
Journalistic- have the ability to dive deep and ask the right questions in order to get to the most compelling story.
Able to be analytical and data-driven. Experienced using data to tell a story.

Tech marketing background
Skilled writer
Excellent verbal communication skills
Strong problem solving skills
Motivation, drive and a self-starting attitude
Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
Ability to understand customer needs and meet that need with successful marketing communications
Ability to travel (less than 20%)
Good time management with strong organizational skills
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
3+ Years of full-time relevant product marketing experience (Software/SaaS is a plus)
