The Carbon Black Sales team is the first touch point for our prospects and the reliable ally for our customers. On the Sales team, you’ll be working with by high caliber, smart people who are dedicated to finding the right solution for customer needs. From initially discovering needs to ensuring the overall health of our customers, you’ll build your expertise by being exposed to a number of unique scenarios. Why You Matter



The Federal Account Manager is responsible for selling to and expanding our presence within the US federal government sector. Looking for an experienced sales professional who has a track record of developing and executing an effective strategy as it relates to the unique requirements associated with selling to government entities. This position is focused on DoD/Intel agencies/Government.



What You’ll Do

Exceed booking and revenue quota targets
Build and manage sales pipeline focused on US federal government territory
Represent the needs of federal government customers and prospects to the company
Build relationships with key federal government partners and customers
Capture, maintain, and disseminate accurate and relevant opportunity information using Salesforce.com



What You’ll Bring

7+ years’ federal government sales experience
BA/BS or equivalent combination of education and experience
U.S. Citizenship
USA government clearance secret or higher preferred (May consider ability to obtain and maintain USA government security clearance)
Must be located in territory -Washington DC metro
Clear understanding of federal government sales and procurement process
Demonstrated history of exceeding booking and revenue targets in federal government space
Knowledge of and relationships in the federal government partner community
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong time management, organizational and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Dynamic, high-energy self-starter
Possess the drive to succeed and to participate in the growth of an exciting, fast-paced company
