Job Description

Bigstream is looking for a Sales Engineer to lead our overall technical sales process. This position will be a key member in communicating the business value of using Bigstream’s technologies to our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Build and tailor compelling sales materials, tools, and documents for different vertical markets of Bigstream (AdTech, FinTech, Security, Telco, BI, Risk Management)
- Present and educate prospects on the value proposition of Bigstream’s products and services
- Lead the technical sales cycle: customer proposal, customer’s business/technical requirement evaluation, product demos, closing the sale, and post-sales support

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of work experience in a customer-facing, technical sales role
- Strong familiarity with Big Data engines, such as Hadoop, Spark, and Kafka
- Experience with SQL-based databases
- Experience with data warehousing and relational database architecture
- Knowledge of ETL and ETL workflows
- Ability to work with multiple customers concurrently
- Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and demonstration skills
