Director, Brand Partnerships at Eko

Overview

At eko, we make great tech that tells great stories. We’re the world’s only choice-driven content creation and publishing platform, where we help brands build immersive worlds, and where independent creators can create seamless, interactive video experiences using our creative suite, eko Studio. Our clients include Walmart, P&G, Mattel, Coca-Cola, LEGO, and more. Now, we need a Director, Brand Partnerships who is passionate about working on the cutting edge of tech and entertainment to help us bring an entirely new medium to brand advertisers.

Our Director of Brand Partnerships will lead clients from the traditional video advertising they buy today, to campaigns with eko, where viewers become participants. Real humans making meaningful choices that determine their outcome to the story, driving KPIs like engagement and time spent that are multiples better than any linear video solution. 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Understand eko’s unique platform, and define the benefits that can be delivered to brands above and beyond what linear video and other traditional advertising mediums can provide.
  • Identify new clients and provide education & thought leadership on eko’s capabilities and benefits.
  • Work closely with brands to understand priorities, to conceive, negotiate, and close 7-figure partnerships.
  • Ensure that client programs are defined and planned appropriately to deliver on target KPIs.
  • Work with an Account Manager, Production and Creative Directors as well as external partners, to flawlessly manage client relationships and programs to exceed agreed upon KPIs.
  • Contribute strategic thinking around eko’s branded offering, how to best service brands, and how to leverage agencies.
  • Work closely with eko’s internal team to refine and evolve eko’s ad product offering.
  • Communicate up, down and across partner organizations - with a strategy towards identifying new business units/contacts and deepening existing partnerships.

OUR DREAM CANDIDATE

  • Has 7+ years of experience in a combination of business development and sales roles, working closely with brand marketers and their agencies, digital publishers and content owners, and/or entertainment companies.
  • Is a client-facing leader who works collaboratively with brands and their agencies, with a proven track record of winning business with new ad offerings.
  • Has experience selling and managing content-related deals, exceeding KPIs around customer retention, revenue growth from existing partners, and working closely with brands to create larger partnerships.
  • Experience working with food brands, retailers, and content creators is a plus.
  • Is able to manage multiple projects at one time, prioritizing within long-term and short-term deadlines.
  • Comes with outstanding verbal and written communication & presentation skills.
  • BS/BA degree required, MBA preferred.
