As Xevo's Technical Project Manager for DevOps, your primary responsibility includes the design and execution of IT Operations and infrastructure projects.  You will work on building the platform and infrastructure that underlies all of our solutions.  You will work in an innovative, fast paced environment, both independently and collaboratively in a team.

 If you are a talented Technical Project Manager who is passionate about driving automation and managing the DevOps process, then we want to talk to you!  As a member of the team, you will lead a group of talented engineers to build new automation frameworks, pipelines and features from the ground up.  Your work will allow you to utilize several technologies, programming languages, and systems and require you to keep up with the ever-changing technological landscape.  You will manage multiple projects and priorities and participate with IT management in the development of technology products, service standards and other efforts that impact operations.  You will serve as a point of contact between IT Operations, management, and development teams, negotiate, resolve problems, and develop relationships at all levels of the organization as well as with outside vendors and contractors.

 Your Mission (should you choose to accept it)

  • Facilitate the Scrum process and be the Scrum Master and Agile Coach for the DevOps team.
  • Dynamically manage multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.
  • Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with a diverse group of staff members, stakeholders, and customers.
  • Work with stakeholders to define clear project objectives and requirements, agree on priorities, communicate progress updates and demonstrations, resolve issues and conflicts, and provide responsive change management.
  • Work with stakeholders to generate technology strategy and build road maps.
  • Make recommendations and decisions independently while remaining open to new ideas and opinions.
  • Manage Jira and Confluence systems and configurations.
  • Develop and maintain both programmatic and technical documentation.

So, do you have with it takes?

  • 2+ years project management experience.
  • Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze business needs and recommend effective process/technology solutions.
  • Experience in configuring Jira workflows, permission schemes, customized screens, etc.
  • Experience managing add-ons and integrations with Atlassian applications.
  • Experience developing and deploying custom plugins for Jira.
  • Experience troubleshooting Jira, Confluence and integrated systems.
  • Development experience using Python, JavaScript, Groovy or similar.
  • Database administration with MySQL, PostgreSQL or similar.
  • Experience with system administration of Linux servers.
  • Experience with AWS.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to make presentations to all levels of management.
  • Passion for customer service and building relationships.
