Product Manager - Security at Nyansa

Nyansa is a fast-growing innovator of advanced IT infrastructure analytics software based in Palo Alto, California. Founded in September 2013 by technology professionals from MIT, Meraki, Aruba Networks and Google, Nyansa is credited with developing the first cloud sourced, vendor-agnostic network analytics and IoT security platform, called Voyance.

Nyansa is looking for a passionate Product Manager to play a key role in evolving and expanding our latest product offering - IoT Security . You will have the opportunity to take a product still in its infancy, ensure that it is tuned to customer’s needs and market shifts, and fuel growth with your decisions. 
Nyansa’s approach to product management is rooted in a deep understanding of the customer. You’ll learn about our customers’ operations, identify the most meaningful problems that we could solve for them and develop a product vision that maximizes the impact Nyansa can make on the fast-growing IoT security market. This is a unique opportunity to join a hyper-growth company and a growing Product team, and have an outsized impact in different aspects of the business.

Responsibilities

    • Develop the product strategy and vision and translate it into creative, high quality, simple features
    • Make the business decisions that grow the adoption and usage IoT Security product
    • Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales and Customer Success to support creation of customer-driven messaging, sales enablement tools and thought leadership materials to execute the go-to-market strategy
    • Perform industry and competitive analysis to identify trends, portfolio gaps and new product opportunities.
    • Engage directly and regularly with customers to gain an in-depth understanding of their business processes and product needs with the goal of developing product champions
    • Drive roadmap execution with engineering 
    • Collaborate with the design team through brainstorming sessions, gathering user feedback, and scoping out technical/business requirements to help define the user experience.

Requirements

    • 3+ years of product management experience in the Enterprise space
    • Hands-on experience working within Security, Cloud and/or SaaS-based offering
    • Solid business intelligence and data visualization experience
    • Self-starter with high levels of initiative, commitment, and energy who can galvanize the team to follow; Bias-to-action and not afraid to get your hands dirty.
    • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to track a large number of tasks and work on many different parallel initiatives with competing priorities
    • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar quantitative field.
    • MS or MBA optional.
    • Strong technical understanding, ability to establish credibility with engineers
