Marketing Manager at Lisnr

LISNR’s Marketing Manager oversees content planning, content development, and our editorial calendar.  They are responsible for researching target markets, internal data, while utilizing both new and existing content deliverables and internal resources from across all teams; sales, marketing, engineering, and product teams to understand and determine how best to position products, value propositions, objectives and goals of the organization and how that relates to content strategy and distribution to create an optimal content strategy.

 

They also develop and maintain content marketing strategies to meet those objectives and goals of the organization. A good marketing manager is someone who excels at thinking creatively and strategically, has a strong understanding of marketing principles, and is comfortable with interpreting data from both internal and external sources for use in shaping a marketing campaign for their target audiences.

 

LISNR’s marketing manager reports to the Head of Marketing. As a result, the marketing manager usually acts as a liaison between the departments involved with content marketing campaigns and the company executives. The Marketing Manager’s success will be determined by increasing organic visitors from Google.com, increased content engagement via time-on-site and quality leads generated via the content strategy on LISNR.com. 

 

As LISNR grows our Marketing Manager would be positioned to supervise employees involved in the creation and distribution of content, such as a copywriter, Email Marketer, designer & others.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create marketing content based on product documents and specs.
  • Build and deliver sales materials that align with the key market verticals and business goals 
  • Develop and maintain an editorial calendar for marketing deliverables 
  • Work collaboratively across multiple teams including Product, Sales, Business Development and Customer Success to align deliverables
  • Developing product marketing plans

Additional Skills

 

  • Excellent communication skills - You will be communicating with multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Self-starter
  • You don’t have to be an engineer but you should have the ability to quickly pick-up and comprehend technical product documentation
  • Experience in creating and structuring product content for sales presentations
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Keynote and/or Powerpoint expertise would be helpful
  • Some graphic design skills are a bonus

Experience

  • 3-5+ years of experience in Marketing for technology products and/or companies.
  • Experience creating content for B2B technology products and/or companies
  • Technical writing experience (CS, Product Management, Engineering) is a bonus!
  • Experience in the retail technology space or mobility space is a bonus.
  • ABM Marketing Certified via DemandBase is a Bonus.
