Process Engineer at Inpria
Corvallis, OR, US

Inpria Corporation, a venture-backed electronic materials startup, has an immediate opening for a Process Engineer based at Imec in Leuven, Belgium. We seek an experienced candidate to join our development team. This hands-on position carries responsibilities for supporting and maintaining Inpria’s EUV photoresist development processes and provides career growth opportunities in an expanding team. The ideal candidate will have strong data analysis skills, practical clean room experience, and knowledge of a state-of-the art lithography and metrology tool set.


• Perform EUV exposures and SEM analysis to meet internal characterization objectives

• Work with content experts to design and execute experiments

• Analyze experiment results and provide clear reports and conclusions

• Take ownership of specific resist improvement projects and drive to completion

• Document, and execute track, scanner and SEM jobs

• Sustain cleanroom-based physical and chemical characterization procedures

• Identify and address out-of-spec processes and process steps

• Work cooperatively with the Inpria team at Imec

Key Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Nanotechnology or equivalent through experience

• Strong data analysis skills with ability to independently attain results

• Preference given to candidates with cleanroom experience (especially at Imec) utilizing nanotechnology production tools

• Experience with lithographic process, etch, and metrology equipment (particularly SEM) is a plus

• Proven aptitude to quickly master software without much guidance, especially unfamiliar software or highly-specific research software. Coding skills with Excel, MATLAB, JMP, Origin, or similar is a plus

• Knowledge of DOE

• Quality driven

• Self-driven and proactive in achieving goals

• Flexible with a strong sense of urgency

• Well organized, enthusiastic and eager to learn

• Active and effective communication skills in English, verbal and written

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
