We live at the intersection of two incredibly compelling market trends: cybersecurity and enterprise-scale crowdsourcing. Synack is to hackers what Uber and Lyft are to drivers. As such, our participation in all forms of media is critical. Synack is already very highly regarded by the press, and we are called on frequently for our expert commentary. We now need a PR expert who will  develop and execute our press strategy, building strong media connections for Synack and making sure that we participate fully in how this market evolution is positioned.

Here’s what you’ll do:  

  • Build and execute Synack’s media strategy with clear goals and tactics
  • Maintain and build relationships with key security, business, tech, and mainstream media
  • Write media pitches, press releases, and opinion articles with relevant content
  • Manage media inquiries and requests
  • Monitor and analyze PR results on a regular basis
  • Develop creative ways outside of traditional media to get the Synack message out

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Strong knowledge of the PR industry
  • Standing relationships with security, technology and some mainstream media
  • Ability to think strategically, agile, a team player
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters preferred
  • 3 - 5 years experience in an agency or as part of a high performing internal PR team
