Senior Product Manager at Synack

We are looking for a talented Senior Product Manager to own and drive products in our next-gen product suite. You will work closely with the exec team and other stakeholders across the company to strategize and execute on the product roadmap, owning one of our critical products from end to end.

Here’s what you'll do:

  • Lead the effort to develop clear and compelling product requirements / user stories for new initiatives as well as existing product enhancements, including business justification, revenue potential, and operational impact
  • Work with internal stakeholders to craft a compelling product roadmap that aligns with business strategy and market needs
  • Work with onshore and offshore engineering teams, perform backlog grooming and manage priorities across multiple teams.
  • Understand available and potential implementation techniques and propose the most appropriate approach.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to define business objectives, devise effective technical solutions, and manage implementation
  • Work with the development team on a daily basis to support the product execution.
  • Take complex technical information and translate it for the business and other teams who have non-technical backgrounds.
  • Monitor product adoption, proactively identifying opportunities and making actionable recommendations to drive product uptake and effectiveness
  • Manage and communicate project schedules, goals, and dependencies, drive cross-functional initiatives, and regularly represent status to senior leadership
  • Analyze the global market and competition, track key trends and their impact, define relevant use cases and features to meet evolving needs
  • Analyzing potential partner relationships for the offerings
  • Work with marketing to present the products and offerings to the analyst community, leveraging the analysts as an information source for product direction
  • Develop and track key metrics / KPIs and targets, developing plans to achieve those targets, and proactively communicate progress

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field; MBA preferred
  • 6+ years of experience in product management, including owning a product or large feature set 
  • 1+ years on a scrappy team in a startup-like, fast-paced environment
  • Proven experience building features to engage and scale communities or crowdsourced models
  • Good instincts - you know what makes a good product great
  • Proven track record of setting product vision and translating vision into a product roadmap and end-to-end execution shipping products
  • A proven ability to motivate, lead and influence internal stakeholders and team members
  • Proven expertise working collaboratively with engineering, sales and marketing departments and being the “voice” of the product
  • Strong communicator and, most importantly, listener with both technical and non-technical colleagues and customers
  • Excellent written and communication skills
