Inside Sales Representative at ScienceLogic

ScienceLogic is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Sydney or Melbourne to develop our business opportunities in Australia.  The successful candidate will be responsible for following up on inbound leads generated by marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting for the Australia regions.  The candidate will perform high-level opportunity qualification and scheduling of initial meetings for an outside sales representative.

Experience with inside sales and social media are beneficial for success in this role.  Candidates must have strong business development and communication skills combined with a reasonable understanding of IT infrastructure and cloud computing.

What you’ll be doing…

  • Identify and develop sales opportunities through prospecting, cold calling & relationship development
  • Understand and effectively communicate ScienceLogic value propositions
  • Superior tenacity and objection handling skills
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospects and partners in Enterprise and Managed Service organisations
  • Detailed and consistent use of with emphasis on lead process and development
  • Manage some sales opportunities to close

Qualities you possess…

  • 3+ years of inside sales experience
  • Effective time management, ability to reach decision-makers and qualify sales opportunities
  • Demonstrable record of inside sales success against quota
  • Ability to call into different industries
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office,, LinkedIn, Jigsaw, and Hoover’s
