Business Development Manager at ElaCarte

Presto provides systems that enhance the competitiveness of restaurants by improving their operations.  We are experiencing rapid growth and are the largest supplier of tabletop tablet solutions to the casual dining market.  We have over 100 employees, with offices in Redwood City and Dallas.
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating revenue generating relationships with  3rd Parties through our Partner Program. The goal of the Partner Program is to support the business by building a portfolio of revenues, including payment residuals, advertising or placement deals and creation of value added services that leverage our installed base.
The Business Development Manager will also develop and maintain relationships with associated vendors who can add value to Presto’s business.  Relationships will include groups such as POS, Loyalty, Sentiment and Gift program and other complementary vendors who serve the hospitality industry.  

Key Activities are:

    • Build revenue and/or lead generating partnerships
    • Manage alliances with major hospitality POS, Payment and on-line ordering vendors
    • Engage with loyalty and gift card vendors as needed to support the business
    • Work with strategic accounts to develop a portfolio of revenue generating value added services
    • Manage residual agreements with payments partners.

Key Job Skills:

    • BS or BA degree
    • 5 years of work experience, in tech business development/alliances/partnering and/or channel sales
    • Outgoing personality
    • Good oral and written communication skills
    • Organized, able to multi-task
    • Able to work well in rapidly changing environments
    • Proactive and decisive actor
    • Experienced and comfortable with technology sales/marketing
    • Experience in any of the following is a plus: Partner Programs, Advertising, Channel Management, Restaurant/Hospitality, Sales or Business Development, International experience and interest, Project Management, Payments
