Senior Marketing Manager - EMEA at Venafi

How you’ll be protecting the world:

As the Marketing Manager, EMEA at Venafi you’ll be part of an extremely motivated, dedicated, and experienced team that protects many of the largest organizations in the world.

This position is the senior marketing professional for Venafi’s European operations and will create regional marketing strategies and plans, working with the corporate marketing teams to leverage global programs and the in-country teams to identify the right activities to most effectively create qualified meetings (Stage 0s) and pipeline for the Venafi solutions in our named accounts.

This role requires an experienced, smart, energetic, results-driven individual who is familiar with a wide range of marketing and account-based marketing techniques in the high-tech, enterprise security space.

The ideal Venafi Warrior will possess the knowledge, skills and abilities to drive the following key initiatives:

  • EMEA marketing strategy and plans by country, to deliver to business pipeline and revenue targets, penetrating named accounts. These plans need to incorporate persona-based value propositions for the target audiences, leverage global programs, clear Venafi value and defined outcomes.
  • Effective execution of those plans working closely with cross-functional marketing and field sales teams.
  • Measurement of program effectiveness, including weekly reporting on programs, metrics and analysis to drive continuous improvement and ROI.
  • Strong pipeline development within target markets, verticals and named accounts.
  • Management of EMEA marketing budget, expenses and programs.
  • Localization of marketing campaigns to support regional needs, including working with translation agencies where appropriate.

What sets you apart?

  • 5+ years of enterprise B2B field and account-based marketing experience in the cybersecurity domain, for the EMEA region.
  • Proven success in setting the EMEA marketing strategy, with appropriate metrics and delivering against those plans.
  • Strong analytical ability with experience of capturing, analyzing and presenting marketing data
  • Strong understanding of the regions and the different nuances of marketing across various regions
  • Intellectual curiosity with a continuous thirst to understand the “whys” of EMEA marketing with a strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Ability to work with people at all levels of an organization, including executive, management, sales and marketing.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) including strong presentation skills.
  • Preferably proficient in at least one other European language (either German or French). 
  • Self-motivated, strong performer with a proven drive to succeed and achieve extraordinary success.
