The Role:

We are looking for an experienced, highly motivated, results-oriented Head of Brand to join our marketing team, reporting to our CMO. 


This role will focus on developing the Moovit brand to a household brand among consumers (B2C), and among decision-makers & buyers who work for cities, municipalities and transit agencies (B2B).


You will be responsible for creating exciting and innovative customer-facing awareness marketing campaigns and initiatives across a wide range of Moovit-owned and external traffic channels to grow Moovit brand awareness and affiliation, in addition to being the Brand guardian.


Our ideal candidate has a deep background in consumer marketing. You are exceptional at brand development, a creative and strategic thinker, and a strong executor with meticulous project management skills. You should have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to influence others and make-things-happen in a startup environment.


Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Make Moovit a household brand among consumers (B2C) and among decision-makers & buyers who work for cities, municipalities and transit agencies (B2B).
  • Campaign Strategy - lead the development and execution of local awareness and above-the-line marketing campaigns to strengthen the Moovit brand, working across globally.
  • Creative ownership - own the creation of assets for use in above-the-line communications.
  • Media Strategy - own the media budget, working with the media team to plan and execute our above-the-line campaigns against our target audience.
  • Moovit Brand Guardian - own brand guidelines (creative, copy) and be the point of contact for the wider Moovit team to make sure everything is "on brand". This includes localizing new product features and launches.
  • Innovator - identifying new awareness driving opportunities and strategies based on customer and business data
  • Brand Measurement - own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing brand health measurements including:
  1. Moovit brand awareness & familiarity
  2. Moovit consideration
  3. Moovit reputation
  4. Marketing effectiveness



  • Extensive (5-8 years) senior brand management experience
  • Background in brand positioning, brand development and brand management
  • Be an impactful storyteller - capable in any arena evangelizing our brand mission
  • Thinks strategically, but stays on top of tactical execution
  • Highly analytical, with a clear understanding of how to use brand research and KPIs to inform strategic decisions
  • Have an attention to detail, very high-quality standards and principles when it comes to brand integrity and acting against insights
  • A creative and strategic thinker
  • Ability to deliver on multiple deadlines and prioritize compulsively as a self-directed individual, comfortable with a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Strong skills in visual layout and a keen eye for typography and color selection - you must be comfortable briefing and providing feedback on creative work independently
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English
  • Experience working in a global environment
