Client Solutions Manager - Central Africa at Sigfox
Nairobi, KE

As Client Solutions Manager for the Central Africa region and reporting to the EMEA Customer Solutions & Success Team Leader, you are part of the Global Business Development Team whose mission is to accelerate market demand, connectivity and service revenues globally with Sigfox Operators, Channel, Alliance and Ecosystem partners.

The objectives of the Client Solutions Manager are to:

  • Support direct and indirect connectivity sales, with decisive solutions, orientated pre-sales support,
  • On deals agreed, support Client Success through the adoption of IOT solutions within the client’s business - considering Sigfox delivery and the client’s people/process/technology implications,


In order to efficiently manage these responsibilities, the Client Solutions Manager will have to:

  • master all aspects of Sigfox technology (from radio design to cloud development),
  • be a subject matter expert on end to end IOT solutions. For example: analytics, hardware, application, algorithms, connectivity, including detailed knowledge of Sigfox Services, Cloud and API integration,
  • develop technical relationships with strategic and/or global ecosystem players (component providers, module makers, device and solution makers) as necessary for architecture development,
  • promote existing solutions to channels and customers,
  • provide expertise or rely on qualified partners to perform technical adaptation (if any) of an existing IoT solution to local constraints (including certification),
  • provide support to Sigfox Certifications,
  • provide expertise or rely on qualified partners for solution design cycle and solution lifecycle, 
  • document any relevant part of his/her job that can be reused by CSS team, Sigfox internal teams or the Sigfox Operators (SO) teams.

Profile & Mindset

  • Extensive and demonstrable experience delivering significant customer value
  • Degree or higher education in Information technology, electronics, business/economics or equivalent 
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering architecture, Solutions consulting, pre-sales support and client success in particular in IoT 
  • Strong client faces skills from executive to operations 
  • Pre-sales skills with a high level of attention to details in written and verbal communications; and sound commercial judgement
  • High empathy with an ability to identify client requirements, challenges and drivers 
  • Strong ability to manage deadline and work under minimal supervision,
  • Strong presentation skills and project management skills,
  • English: Fluent
