Job Description 

We are looking to bring on a content marketer to join the LISNR marketing team. As the Content Marketing Specialist, you will provide relevant and useful content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience of company customers and prospects. Youll drive messaging across all stages of the customer lifecycle. 

You have  extremely strong writing abilities, strong organization skills, and a willingness to learn Account-Based Marketing (ABM) Best Practices to develop compelling narratives and copy for audiences. You have a knack for uncovering hot industry news and rapidly capitalizing on it with a unique point-of-view, or repurposing content with a unique take. You are a proactive self-starter that thrives in fast-paced, collaborate cultures. And, you leave no stone unturned with it comes to analyzing the performance of your content. 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Work alongside internal partners to develop a content marketing strategy and editorial plan that aligns with and supports business objectives.
  • Write hard-hitting copy that drives action in a variety of mediums and formats (website, blogs, social media, collateral, reports, video, email, infographics, press releases and more) 
  • Integrate content programs with brand campaigns as well as identify and develop audience-specific content.
  • Develop and monitor content for brand voice, style, and tone; craft, edit, and proofread content before delivery 
  • Oversee the content calendar and content development projects; Manage the entire editorial process, including ideation, drafting, design, distribution, promotion, and measurement.
  • Determine both net new content needs and opportunities to repurpose existing content.
  • Track breaking news and social conversation to generate highly relevant storylines that address audiences real-time interests by industry and vertical.
  • Interview and develop relationships with journalists, reporters, customers, and other subject-matter experts 
  • Analyze content performance and lifecycle, and use data to iterate, improve and maximize results 

Requirements 

  • 2 - 4 years of work experience
  • Bachelors degree in English, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent work experience 
  • Superb project management skills, with the experience and attitude to define a plan, identify tasks and owners, and proven ability to drive a project to successful completion 
  • Ability to analyze content marketing performance data and develop recommendations and improvements to marketing programs 
  • Ability to develop and edit audience-specific information and content 
  • Calmness under pressure and ability to achieve tight deadlines 
  • Creative thinking and an open-minded approach 
  • Technologically savvy and should be proficient in the tools required to communicate with the market (i.e. advanced skills in MS Office to include PowerPoint, Word); Experience with Marketing Automation (Pardot), CMS (Wordpress), Salesforce & Demandbase highly desired.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience in B2B and/or SaaS Companies
  • Experience with ABM / Account-Based Marketing Framework & Tools
  • Proficiency in multi-channel marketing platforms, search engine optimization, and project management 
  • Technical Writing Experience
  • Experience writing content for any of the following industries; retail, fin-tech, automotive, payments
