QA Analyst at R3CEV

R3 is an enterprise blockchain software firm working with a broad ecosystem of more than 300 members and partners across multiple industries from both the private and public sectors to develop on Corda, our open-source blockchain platform, and Corda Enterprise, a commercial version for enterprise usage. Our global team of over 200 professionals in 13 countries is supported by over 2,000 technology, financial, and legal experts drawn from our global member base. The Corda platform is already being used in industries from financial services to healthcare, shipping, insurance and more. It records, manages and executes institutions’ financial agreements in perfect synchrony with their peers, creating a world of frictionless commerce.

The Corda platform has demonstrated huge potential in the market so far, and as we keep pursuing our ambitious goals in this challenging space, the quality of our software will be paramount to our success. 
The QA Analyst will be responsible for gaining deep subject matter expertise in the Corda platform. They will be able to analyse complex distributed systems and to plan, execute and report on test cycles as part of the growing R3 QA team. They will have well-developed critical thinking skills, with the mindset of a tester and problem solver, loving to explore new technologies and finding ways to break them. They will have experience working in enterprise software firms where releases and software development lifecycles are the backbone of their work. The majority of their experience will be from working in agile environments where software engineers, testers, product managers and DevOps work closely together.


    • Produce detailed test stage plans
    • Develop and maintain test suites and test cases
    • Execute test cases, document results, update progress, and track bugs
    • Work with off-shore teams as part of our matrix team structure
    • Participate in the setup and management of cloud based test environments
    • Communicate test progress, test results, and other relevant information to project stakeholders and management
    • Participate in daily stand ups, sprint planning and retrospectives, and other meetings as needed


    • 8+ years in software quality assurance roles, ideally for complex distributed systems
    • Strong understanding of computer science principles through a combination of academic and professional experience
    • Excellent knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies
    • Able to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
    • Proven analytical and creative problem-solving skills
    • Proficient with unix based operating systems
    • Highly self-motivated with a keen attention to detail
