Marketing Analyst at Venafi

How you’ll be protecting the world:
In this role, you will apply your expertise in marketing analytics to deliver and manage a marketing dashboard, and you will aid in developing key insights across program and campaign results, lead management and our customer data to inform strategy and actions. Responsibilities include:

  • Work with Marketing Leadership to define, create, and maintain standardized dashboards and supporting diagnostic reporting to be used cross functionally. Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to be distributed by Marketing and Exec leadership.
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills to marketing questions; deliver analytically rigorous insights to inform marketing direction and prioritization.
  • Respond to ad hoc reporting requests and analysis to help evaluate marketing initiatives to analyze impact and ROI.
  • Clearly communicate actionable insights from objective analysis and make recommendations.
  • Monitor and analyze trends of key marketing performance indicators, test hypothesis, seek to discover new insights.
  • Work with the team to identify process inconsistencies and improvements. Aid in the solution design, documentation and ongoing maintenance of marketing processes, such as lead-importing and event follow up.
  • Responsible for marketing data integrity. Develop and manage audit dashboards and provide guidance on proper data entry and formatting. Conduct systematic data remediation and cleanup initiatives.
  • Prepare presentations to leadership team and Board of Directors

The ideal Venafi Warrior will be armed with:

  • BA in Marketing, Business, Computer Science or related field with 3+ years professional experience as a Marketing Analyst or similar analyst position.
  • Demonstrated track record of creating and delivering insights and recommendations using marketing analytics that have driven change and moved the needle positively in business performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to think strategically and creatively, apply marketing acumen and exercise judgment.
  • Strong project management, consulting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of customer segmentation, data mining, marketing automation and best practices and contemporary B2B sales and marketing technologies (SFDC, Marketo) and best practices through both digital and non-digital channels.
  • Strong skills with tools like Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, vlookups, sumifs) Marketo RCE and other related BI tools
  • Intellectual curiosity with a continuous thirst to understand the whys and initiate new insightful conversations. Strong desire to learn and grow.
  • Highly productive and efficient. Able to thrive managing multiple projects under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively consistent with Venafi cultural values.
  • Capable of completing day-to-day work with little instruction and general instructions on new assignments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience in a cyber security market a plus
