At Helpshift, you’ll have the opportunity to expand into all areas of accounting by assisting in a broad range of transactional, reconciliation and other accounting activities. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to perform the day to day accounting operations including transactions, account reconciliations, revenue invoices, and much more as Helpshift continues to grow and revolutionize traditional customer support. About the Role

    • You will process cash and expense transactions, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and classification.
    • You will perform data entries in the general ledger in Quickbooks.
    • You will record revenue invoices and assist with on-going billing and payment collections, including past past due invoices using
    • You will assist with Accounts Payable and other liability accounts.
    • You will identify opportunities to improve Helpshift’s close process.
    • You will collaborate across departments including sales and marketing teams.

About You

    • You have 1+ years’ experience in accounting and/or a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
    • You have experience with Microsoft Office applications and are proficient in Excel.
    • You have clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
    • You have strong prioritization and organizational skills.
    • You have exceptional attention to detail and exhibit problem solving abilities.
    • You are excited to work in a high energy and fast paced office in Downtown San Francisco.
    • You are interested in and excited to learn new software and technologies to support your work.
