Sr. Engineer (Regulatory Compliance Test Engineer) at Ossia

Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop test procedures and execute tests to demonstrate regulatory compliance (such as FCC, EU, Japan, etc.) and other standards as related to Ossia’s wireless power technology. Testing includes RF emissions and safety (SAR).
  • Prepare test plans and create detailed test reports for both internal use and submittal to certification agencies.
  • Design and conduct licensed technology trials in coordination with both regulatory bodies and Ossia’s commercial partners.
  • Work closely with other engineering team members to assist in troubleshooting and solving technical issues that may arise during testing.


  • 6+ years of relevant experience in regulatory compliance testing of consumer devices and/or systems such as mobile phones and wearables.
  • Proven expert in test methods and requirements for regulatory certification.
  • Highly knowledgeable of best practices in RF emissions and SAR testing.
  • Understanding of EMI mitigation techniques and strong knowledge of RF measurement techniques.
  • Travel will be required (approximately 40 to 50%).
  • Strong documentation capabilities and ability to generate detailed test procedures and reports.
  • Highly motivated and can be productive both independently and within a team environment.
  • Communicates well and can present in front of senior leadership team.


  • BS in Electrical Engineering (Advanced degree is a plus)
