HR/Recruiting Assistant at Medical Informatics

We are

Medical Informatics Corp. (MIC) a medical software company that aims to save lives by improving how patients are monitored. Our solution, Sickbay, collects patient data, stores it, transforms it and delivers results to doctors and nurses in real-time. We continue to build on Sickbay to identify early warning signs of patient deterioration in data which was previously lost within hospitals. This allows us to provide predictive alerts to care providers who can remotely or locally diagnose the problem and intervene before symptoms become life-threatening. 

You are

Are you a person who is excellent at problem-solving, including being able to identify issues and resolve problems in a timely manner. Someone who possesses strong interpersonal skills. Able to communicate clearly, both written and orally, as to communicate with employees, members of the HR management team, and in group presentations and meetings. One who is able to effectively read and interpret information, present numerical data in a resourceful manner, and skillfully gather and analyze information. Able to prioritize and plan work activities to use time efficiently. Extremely organized, accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality. Dependable, able to follow instructions, respond to management direction and are able to improve performance through management feedback.

Your mission 

Is to be someone MIC can depend on to help preserve a good quality of life and productivity in our office environment. As an HR professional one of your goals will be to assist with balancing the needs and goals of both the company and the workforce. Additionally, you as the Human Resources/Recruiting Assistant (HR/RA) you will be responsible for the proper completion of pre-employment background checks, participating in recruitment efforts, posting job ads and organizing resumes and job applications, scheduling job interviews and assisting in interview process, ensuring background and reference checks are completed, preparing new employee files, orienting new employees to the organization (setting up a designated log-in, workstation, email address, etc.) as well as providing daily administrative updates to the recruiting team.
