We are looking for a Security Engineer to join our team of security experts to enhance the capabilities of our automated vulnerability detection and validation solutions.  Do you thrive on learning new technologies and working on game-changing problems in cybersecurity? Are you able to cross over from research to engineering and back?  If so, keep reading! 

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Identify various open source, commercial, and proprietary security tools, covering host, web, and mobile platforms vulnerability testing
  • Integrate those tools into our core distributed platform, extending it through the plugins architecture
  • Design integrations with scalability and resiliency and availability in mind, matching those of our multi-tenant distributed platform
  • Collect and analyze quality and accuracy metrics of our platform’s vulnerability detection capabilities; enhance plugins to keep the metrics high
  • Contribute to streamlining and simplifying plugins architecture in the platform 
  • Coordinate with and educate your peers on security topics and common vulnerabilities
  • Design and build workflows that aid automated discovery and validation of vulnerabilities across multiple platforms
  • Stay updated on the latest tools and techniques in the security community and optionally present novel research at security conferences
  • Be frequently called on for your unique skills in host, mobile, web, or IoT vulnerability discovery

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 4+ years of security experience  
  • In-depth knowledge of network protocols and operating systems 
  • A solid grasp on common vulnerabilities and exploitation tactics
  • Experience with programming languages: Go or C; Python
  • Experience with web application security (XSS, CSRF, SQLi) is a plus
  • Experience with application security tools (Nessus, Burp) is a plus
  • Penetration Testing experience and industry certifications (e.g. OSCP, OSWE, GPEN, GWAPT) is a huge plus!
