About Lumiata 

 
Lumiata delivers Machine Learning powered health analytics to make healthcare smarter. At the intersection of clinical knowledge, data science and machine learning, Lumiata provides cost and risk analytics to health plans, care providers and employers. 
 
We process TBs of patient data per customer, which we use to train models that are used to solve our customer’s prediction and classification problems. We use a variety of ML techniques, ranging from simple linear regression, decision trees, SVMs and deep learning. We’re building a Big Data / Machine Learning platform for managing TBs of data, as well as providing our data science team capabilities that will allow them to iterate very quickly throughout the ML experimentation lifecycle: data cleansing, feature engineering, training, predict/classify, tune, and repeat. Our ambitions are around reaching economies of scale via our platform. 
 
Overview 
 
The Lumiata Sales Executive is responsible for the generation of new product and services revenue for the Lumiata Cost and Risk Prediction Platform and Business Applications.  This role focuses on securing eligible prospects among Health Plans, Employers, Providers and other vertical markets as new customers. The Sales Executive will identify and understand client business requirements and make recommendations that leverage our capabilities, resulting in a win-win relationship. 

 
 Responsibilities 
 
The Sales Executive has end-to-end responsibility for new sales and revenue attainment of quarterly sales goals. The right candidate must be able to develop and maintain or leverage existing relationships with Senior Executives (C-Suite, VP, etc.) within our target markets. The candidate must be able to develop and execute a targeted sales plan within prospective accounts, including target identification, prospecting, organizing resources, leading meetings and demonstrations with prospects, closing deals and facilitating contract negotiations. In addition, this role requires revenue goal attainment The Sales Executive should bring a track record of successfully selling technology to solve business problems. 
 
 Specific Responsibilities
  • Development and execution of a sales plan with a focus on meeting and exceeding individual sales goals 
  • Ability to develop and deliver demonstrations of our applications to C-level executives 
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks 
  • Time and territory management 
  • Overnight travel required: 20% - 30% 
 
 
Required Skills 
 
  • Ability to sell healthcare technology solutions
  • 3-5+ years of Professional Sales Experience 
  • Experience selling to C-level and Senior Executives
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal 
  • Highly organized and the ability to track activities, opportunities and contacts within the customer relationship management system on a daily basis 
 
 
Preferred:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of enterprise software sales experience 
  • Experience in healthcare enterprise sales 
  • Knowledge of insurance risk a plus
