Job description

As our Office Administrator, you will be responsible for the provision of common daily office, HR and administrative support to the company, management team and CEO. This role is perfect for someone that is self-directed, enjoys wearing multiples hats, and is passionate about joining a fun and vibrant work culture. 


Who are we and what do we do?

We are a rapidly growing team looking for people who share our passion for developing solutions at the intersection of imaging and depth. AIRY3D has developed DepthIQ™, a 3D computer vision platform that consists of a Transmissive Diffraction Mask and computational imaging software that can convert any camera sensor into a versatile 3D sensor at a fraction of the manufacturing cost.


Based in Montreal, AIRY3D recently raised US$10 million in series A funding led by Intel Capital. This financing will allow AIRY3D to advance its licensing roadmap for the first commercial adoptions of DepthIQ 3D by top-tier consumer electronics companies in mobile and other markets such as automotive and AR/VR.


What are we looking for?

We’re looking for someone that will help sustain and expand the great work culture that we’ve established, a dynamic individual to provide administrative support to the company,management team and functional leads. 


What you will do:

Office and Administrative Support

  • Manage office space, supplies and purchasing, and activities. 
  • Be the first point of contact for clients, visitors and facility matters. 

HR Administration

  • Provide support to the HR Director as it relates to coordination, on-boarding, benefits, and purchasing of equipment for new team members. 
  • Support HR processes and initiative such as objective setting, performance reviews, and personal development. 
  • Support and develop talent engagement initiatives, i.e., planning, executing and completing projects on time.

Communications & Scheduling

  • Help manage and update our website. 
  • Maintain a corporate events calendar for management. 

Finance Support

  • Perform travel expense report validation and analysis.
  • Perform light bookkeeping and banking as required to support corporate accounting.

Management Team Support

  • Event planning & coordination.
  • Organize business itineraries, travel arrangements, conferences and/or trade-shows, meetings and social functions.


What you bring to our team

  • 3+ years in similar function ideally in a technology company. 
  • Fluently bilingual in French & English (written and spoken).
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. IT savvy.
  • Recognized for his/her professionalism, proactive attitude and top customer service approach, friendly, polite and respectful.
  • Great organizational skills.
  • Discretion and demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.
  • Dynamic, enthusiastic, and flexible.


Bonus points

  • Startup company experience.
  • Graphic design skills and experience with Adobe Photoshop and/or Adobe Illustrator to help enhance presentations.
  • Adept with DSLR cameras.
  • Certificate or diploma from a recognized administrative program or an equivalent educational background.
  • Experience with WordPress.
