IT Support Analyst at Inrix

Our expanding portfolio of SAAS technology provides autonomous and smart city solutions worldwide. To support the quality and availability of those solutions, we operate a 24/7 follow the sun model across our twin SOC (Service Operations Centre), based in Seattle WA and Altrincham UK.

The role:

We are seeking a full time IT Support Analyst to work within our UK SOC in Altrincham to provide technical and analytical support across the INRIX Product suite and system architecture. As part of the global Service Operations Team, you will work within the SOC which is part of the global engineering team.

Though not essential the role would suit an experienced analyst having previously worked in a SOC environment. There is no fixed technology stack that you will need to be an expert with, as many skills are transferable, however you will need to be analytical by nature, have a desire to work hard, be keen to learn new technology and be adaptable to new and challenging situations. Our products and their architecture are ever evolving so as a support team we must evolve in line with that and ensure that our customer base stay delighted with our services.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform real time monitoring of operational and quality integrity of our products and technology stack.
  • When service or quality issues are found, manage them to a timely resolution, including trouble shooting, escalation, and all required internal and external communications
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely fashion and with accurate information
  • Work closely with engineering and operations teams to validate that changed/updated systems are working properly after changes are applied
  • Independently and accurately execute reports and/or projects on time

The person:

  • ITIL certification or good knowledge of incident and problem management preferred
  • Positive attitude, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams in different countries
  • Mature mindset, understanding the customer is at the core of everything the business does, is essential
  • A proactive nature, focus on continual improvement systems, processes and customer experience is essential for this role.
  • Experience of working with customers, either in person or over phone / email a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows
  • Experience working in an operational support environment a plus

Shift and contract details:

This role will be for 37.5 hours/week (Mon to Fri). Shift times between 07:00 and 18:00. Subject to business needs, some out of hours on-call support duties may also be required of the role.

This is a full-time permanent contract with excellent salary and benefits
