Corporate Support Engineer at Inrix
Birmingham, GB

INRIX requires a Corporate Support Engineer to provide corporate (desktop / laptop) support to staff based in our Birmingham siteand remote support to users located at 6 sites throughout the UK.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful IT track record within an environment where quality and quantity of information is everything.  They will be looking forward to the challenge of working in a fast paced and challenging environment and will need to be organisedcreative, be able learn and apply new knowledge quickly.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Corporate systems support including all user desktops / laptops, basic corporate networking support, hardware and commercial and custom software support
  • Internal customer service to all INRIX UK staff (both onsite in Birmingham and remote), plus other people visiting the office
  • Assess office-based system needs looking forwards
  • Problem response and resolution
  • Consistently look for ways to improve the end user experience and optimise their platforms to ensure efficient working environments
  • Occasional additional hours may be required
  • Joining a rota for on-call cover providing support and fixes via remote access


Role Requirements:

  • Proven experience with AD and Office 365 essential
  • Demonstrable experience of working with desktop / laptop PCs and fixing problems
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic corporate network issues
  • Installation and configuration of Windows, MS Office and other applications as required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills essential
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Full UK driving license
