Performance Marketing Specialist at ViewSonic

SUMMARY 

This role is an integral part of a growing team who will directly contribute to ViewSonic’s Ecommerce growth initiative.  This position will develop and implement new marketing strategies to increase traffic, and optimize conversions to drive profitable growth for the Ecommerce Channel in US and Canada, with emphasis on Amazon and ViewSonic.com. 

 Responsible for tracking and evaluating performance of all vehicles within integrated marketing campaigns (SEM, SEO, display, retargeting, affiliates, referring partners, social, email, etc.) and determine necessary adjustments to measure overall marketing performance for the Ecommerce channel.  The ideal candidate for this role is a data-driven self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit who enjoys compiling various data points to gain insights, formulate actionable plans, and implement initiatives independently to deliver results.  The candidate must stay abreast of industry best practices and competitive landscape, and constantly strive to improve rankings, conversions and customer experience online.

 The Digital Marketing Team members work closely with Product and Vertical Marketing, Ecommerce Marketing and Marcom group to plan and implement solutions to meet corporate B2C/B2B objectives.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES 

  • Monitor and analyze product listing performance (traffic, conversions, ranking and ratings) using various data sources including ARA Premium, Google Analytics, and Magento reports.
  • Optimize listings through keyword research, obsessively monitor competition to improve organic and paid rankings within each category-- deep understanding of Amazon SEO is a must.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop comprehensive digital media and Amazon advertising campaigns, oversee implementation to ensure cohesive execution, and compile consolidated KPI reports monthly and on ad hoc basis.
  • Work with eCommerce team to continuously refine Amazon SEO/ SEM strategy and identify key areas to scale quickly in order to drive revenue growth while maintaining profitability.     
  • Lead digital analytics. Extract key insights from data and analytics (from Amazon, Google Analytics and etc.) to collectively build actionable plans that meet strategic objectives for the Ecommerce Team--must be able to clearly present data for all levels of the organization. 
  • Stay abreast of all changes to the Amazon and digital marketing platforms to ensure we’re positioned well to take advantage of new features and programs.
  • Establish the required technology platforms and tools required to easily scale and measure results and create an analytical test/learn/refine culture across the team.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have 3 - 5 years of Amazon and Ecommerce experience, or progressive experience in digital marketing role focused on performance marketing at DTC Ecommerce company.
  • Has managed performance marketing campaigns that drove profitable customer acquisition and incremental revenue.
  • Possesses expert knowledge of SEO/SEM for branded websites and on amazon, understands nuances between platforms. 
  • An Excel guru who loves data, and has the ability to compile big data and synthesize business KPIs to form an actionable plan.
  • Experienced with integrated marketing campaigns; strong understanding of marketing automation is a plus.
  • Be a driven self-starter with excellent attitude and strong work ethics to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment. 
  • Enjoys working at both the strategic and tactical levels, independently and within a team.
