The Director of Human Resources (US Operations) will be a member of the leadership team at GoodData to ensure alignment of the people and talent vision and the company’s strategy. The role reports to the CFO is responsible for building and developing a best-in-class human resources function to support business needs and foster strong employee engagement. The right candidate will be both employees and company-oriented - a true leader with HR functional expertise.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

Oversee the strategy and execution of the end to end human resources function in the US including organizational design/job architecturing, performance management, talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, payroll, training, employee relations, and internal communications

Serves as Senior HRBP to executives and a ~60 people US organization

Balance both business and employees’ needs to influence HR program design and implement strategies, programs, and solutions

Drive leadership succession planning and employee development

Collaborate closely with the Director of HR in the Czech Republic to align global initiatives.

Facilitate and enable collaborations among cross-functional teams globally

Maintain awareness and knowledge of labor laws and assure compliance globally

Mentor a small HR team in the US for career development

Qualifications:

 

7+ years of relevant HR experience, with 2+ years in management

Strong background as an HR Business Partner required (2+ years in HRBP roles)

Demonstrated ability to resourcefully innovate and adapt in a rapidly changing ambiguous environment

Willingness to “roll-up the sleeves” to get things done

High level of integrity, fairness, and consistency in their decision-making and will stop at nothing to safeguard compliance standards and company values

Excellent organizational, communication and prioritization skills

Bachelor’s degree with an HR emphasis; Advanced degree and SPHR a plus.
