Sales Trainer at SecurityScorecard

The Sales Trainer works under the direction of the Senior Director of Product Marketing and will drive important initiatives to enable the global sales team and partner sales teams to communicate the value proposition of our product across all use cases. The Sales Trainer will partner with the internal sales organization and our revenue partner organizations to assess challenges and knowledge gaps, and identify opportunities to increase sales productivity through scalable and custom training initiatives, leveraging Product Marketing and Product Management counterparts.

The qualified candidate is an expert level facilitator and highly data driven, conducting skill gap analyses and using insights to build and evolve training strategy, and measure the efficacy of training programs as a part of a world class go-to-market

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the development and delivery of sales training and certification programs including sales skills, sales processes (including Salesforce.com), and product training

Serve as a trusted advisor and partner to revenue leadership and ensure training program alignment with function goals

Develop and execute sales new hire onboarding, ongoing training and skill assessments leveraging eLearning, virtual, and in-person training methodologies

Use a data driven approach to determine training program efficacy and evolution

Leverage cross functional counterparts to help drive sales enablement and package the right value proposition linked to SecurityScorecard’s sales methodology

Manage the delivery and packaging of content on marketing and sales technology platforms

Qualifications and Skills:

5+ years of experience developing and executing training programs for a sales audience

Understanding of and strong interest in B2B SaaS software products and services

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Extensive experience with Martech tools like Salesforce, Highspot, Mindtickle, MS Sharepoint, Asana

Experience in the MEDDIC sales methodology a plus
