How you’ll be protecting the world:

Venafi is looking for an experienced cybersecurity business development professional to lead Venafi’s ecosystem development at an incredibly exciting time. Venafi is building category leadership in Machine Identity Protection and core to this strategy is a thriving, growing ecosystem of the world most important cybersecurity, cloud, and DevOps leaders. To protect customers the Venafi Ecosystem must protect all machine identities, so the work of the Ecosystem Director will never be done!

The Ecosystem Director will build a business development team, define an ecosystem program, prioritize technology partnership relations, establish joint business cases for partnership, and work closely across Venafi including Product, Marketing, and Corporate Development teams for success.

The candidate should be well known in the cybersecurity community and has built partnerships with leading vendors.

Key Result Areas:

  • Grow strategic partnerships that accelerate pipeline and revenue growth
  • Build Venafi Technology Network program to make easier or developers to build for Venafi
  • Expand ecosystem in cloud, DevOps, IoT

The ideal Warrior will be armed with:

  • 7+ years experience in business development, product marketing, product management, and/or sales
  • 3+ years leading business development for cybersecurity startup or established leader
  • Proven success with technology partner and go-to-market strategies
  • Ability to travel at least 20% of time; can live and work anywhere in the world
