Renewals Specialist at Venafi

How you’ll be protecting the world:


Overall responsibility for customer satisfaction and for renewal of software subscriptions for a subset of existing Venafi customers in North America.  This position requires the individual to be a Venafi ambassador to our customers developing and using best practices at all times. 

The Renewals Specialist is directly and/or indirectly accountable for all activities associated with the renewal of customer software subscriptions and customer retention including, but not limited to:

  • Ensure that all customer renewal information is complete and accurate in SFDC.
  • Develop quotes for all renewals 12 months in advance of renewal date.
  • Manage all renewal steps, including notifications, license usage reports, purchasing channel confirmation, quote development, purchase plan, etc.
  • Secure purchase order for software subscription renewal.
  • In addition, role will include responsibilities to complete account mapping and also work in Salesforce.com updating account and contact information for the subset of assigned customer accounts as well as other identified accounts and prospects.

 A successful candidate will be detail and process oriented with a strong customer service acumen and a high degree of operational effectiveness.  This position requires the individual to be a self-starter and to work effectively in an unstructured and unsupervised environment. Good negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to develop a deep product knowledge are a plus. 


Key Result Areas:

  • Maintain a customer renewal rate of 95% or greater.
  • Develop and implement best practices to improve the software subscription renewal process.
  • Become proficient with the Salesforce.com tool and effectively use this tool to improve the renewal process.
  • Become proficient with other tools such as Discover.org and LinkedIn.com to map account organizational structures and key contacts.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and with appropriate internal Venafi teams.
  • Meet with manager on a weekly basis to review activities and report progress.

 

This position reports to the Regional Sales Director.
