Software Sales Operations Analyst at Univa

The Position

Univa is currently looking for a Software Sales Operations Analyst to join the team in the Markham, Ontario office.  The ideal candidate is well organized, detail oriented, analytical and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.  The successful candidate will improve workflows and promote efficiencies in the software sales process by ensuring data integrity and providing strong data analytics.  This position requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail along with a good understanding of commercial transactions for subscription-based software sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Management and enhancement of the sales operation’s workflow
  • Primary liaison of information between sales, marketing, and finance to ensure data and system integrity in accordance with corporate governance policies
  • Responsible for building Salesforce reports, maintenance of accurate contractual data, analysis of data, and identification of financial implications
  • Enhance sales forecasting and budgeting initiatives by preparing accurate and timely data
  • Review, monitor, and measure sales metrics against forecast, budget, and sales goals
  • Support on-going and ad-hoc reporting and analysis for the Senior Leadership team
  • Provide visibility on key sales metrics by preparing standard weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual operational reports

Education and Experience Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance or related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a Sales Operations capacity or similar role with exposure to
  • Experience with subscription-based software contracting
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Proficient in CRM and CPQ with a good understanding of workflows and business rules
  • Demonstrated ability to build reports in, organize and extract data, and provide meaningful analytics in Excel to assist with recommendations
