Strategic Account Manager, Global at BrightEdge

As the client’s primary account liaison, you will coordinate with C-level marketing executives to plan, measure, and optimize their digital campaigns. To ensure customer success, you will apply consulting and negotiating skills to confirm customers are seeing a return on investment to secure renewals for our largest customers. 

What You Will Do:

    • Develop trusted relationships with decision makers in each account, understand their strategic goals, and develop plans to partner on these goals
    • Successfully negotiate renewal and up-sell contracts and pricing
    • Ensure that customers are leveraging the BrightEdge solution to deliver business value across all levels of their company
    • Aggressively prospect new business units while meeting and exceeding revenue and activity goals
    • Prepare and execute on quarterly customer success plans
    • Understand level of adoption and assess the risk in renewing existing contracts
    • Introduce new features and best practices to customers and track adoption
    • Develop new materials (presentations, best practices, rollout plans, proposals, etc.)
    • Track and report on key metrics for customer success.
    • Work with customer success managers to establish strong qualification criteria
    • Manage to a monthly, quarterly, and yearly quota

What it Takes to be Successful:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 7-10 years of quota carrying experience selling SaaS Software or marketing agency services
    • Passion for technology sales and account management
    • Strong presentation skills and credibility with C-level executives
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience managing a team in a fast paced environment
    • Ability to navigate and up-sell into complex, global accounts
    • Track record of over-achieving quota (top 10% of team/org)
    • Experience using Salesforce
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
    • Experience selling Search Marketing technology preferred
