True Fit is looking for a senior analyst in our central London office.

What we do

This position is part of the Analytics group in the Science department. The Analytics group works closely with customer-success, engineering, and other groups at True Fit providing custom and complex analytics solutions for internal and external use. For example:

  • Building new validation methods based on econometric and other methods
  • Development of software tools to analyse complex data quality issues (e.g. deviation from expected statistical distribution, detection of low-data anomalies, finding unexplained data format changes)
  • Creation of new reporting metrics
  • Supporting the development of new products
  • Ad-hoc analytics (customer analytics, internal reporting etc.)
  • Working with internal technical and non-technical groups to ensure account success

What you will do

  • Develop and extend new test methodologies based on econometric and other methods requiring strong knowledge of statistics.
  • Analyse complex A/B test results to demonstrate True Fit’s value to customers.
  • Explore and diagnose issues that may lead to inconclusive tests (e.g. cookie issues) and create remediation approaches.
  • Investigate complex patterns in the data to identify underlying issues.
  • Propose and build software tools to find, resolve, and prevent problems.
  • Build, refine, and combine large data sets of different types from disparate sources.

Participate in the development and prototyping of new analytic products for analysis and optimization

Required Experience/Skills

  • Minimum of a Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, econometrics, physics)
  • At least three years post-Master’s experience in a relevant field
  • Strong knowledge of statistics (including use of non-normal distributions, understanding of power, bootstrapping etc.)
  • Good knowledge of SQL, working knowledge of Python and experience using statistical libraries like SciPy.
  • Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
  • Customer-facing aptitude and the ability to work with tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, methods, and skills as they become needed.
