Job Description

This is a fantastic entry level opportunity to work for an energetic, expanding technology firm with a global footprint. Kaltura, and the Proposal Associate role, is a great place to launch a career with many opportunities for growth and internal mobility.

Your primary role will be to work with the Proposal Manager and technical/sales subject matter experts to take a first pass at and own the compilation and submission of responses to client tenders / RFPs and other business development materials as needed. You will also participate in the curation and administration of Kaltura’s critical internal documentation and response repositories.

You will play a pivotal in building Kaltura’s pipeline and maintaining a pulse on the market. You will interact regularly with senior level leaders, executives and team members across sales, marketing, finance, legal, product and professional services groups, and be responsible for ensuring our proposal content is complete, concise, accurate, and timely.

Within these complex, structured processes, you will be expected to show creativity, latitude, and see opportunities where others see challenges. The desired candidate will have an ability to identify the right business angle, write persuasive proposals and presentations that sell Kaltura products and solutions, and possess the technical aptitude to speak and translate the language of engineers and product managers for our customers.

Core Responsibilities

In this role you will provide the first line of response to major proposal requests across Kaltura’s enterprise and education businesses. You will regularly:

·      Respond to technical, corporate, and legal questions from customers

·      Work with subject matter experts to craft new responses to difficult problems

·      Own the creation of complete, polished proposal documents

·      Participate in the maintenance, administration, and improvement of Kaltura’s growing central document, messaging, and response repositories

·      Work regularly with teams and executives across the company

·      Applicant must be able to collaborate closely with the Proposal Manager and SMEs to escalate and solve complex technical and narrative challenges

 

REQUIREMENTS

•      Bachelor’s degree level or above

•      High level of organization and a superior attention to detail

•      Exceptional ability to comprehend, create and edit technical documents

•      Persuasive and succinct writing style that can effectively convey Kaltura’s value proposition

•      Experience creating highly polished marketing or communications (plus)

•      Broad computer literacy. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite/Outlook.

•      Location flexible (Kaltura has offices in NYC/London/Tel Aviv/Sydney/Singapore)
