REQUIREMENTS

 

Essential duties and responsibilities

a)    For the Buyer part:

·        Proactive and reactive purchasing - identify and analyse business requirements and build a Purchasing strategy together with internal stakeholders

·        Ownership of RFP process - identify potential bidders, issue documentation, review and benchmark bids, present recommendations to senior managers

·        Identify and approve new suppliers, perform due diligence and ongoing supplier management

·        Prepare and negotiate complex contracts interfacing with internal clients, finance and legal department

·        Defining and implementing Purchasing Strategies

·        Manage supplier negotiation processes with global suppliers

·        Cost reduction initiative

 

 

b)   For the Travel Manager part:

·        Implementing the corporate travel policy globally.

·        System admin for T&E management platform (Concur)

·        Overseeing relationships with travel vendors: TMC, Hotels, car rentals and so forth

·        Resolve any problems with travel or accommodations by using company resolution protocol and communicating with all relevant parties.

·        Processes travel documents according to travel needs and company procedures, verify itineraries, coordinate payments, document issues, travel insurance, Visas and so on

·        Prepare periodic travel reports and work to stay within budget.

·        Global purchasing experience in technology or telecoms industries

·        Previous experience as Travel manager – an advantage.

·        Excellent customer service: assessing traveller's needs, meeting quality standards, and striving for client satisfaction

·        Know how to effectively coordinate staff and resources to make travel arrangements and maximize budgets

·        Multitasking 

·        Excellent interpersonal skills 

·        Fluent English.
