Backend Product Manager at Kaltura

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for a bright and passionate Product Line Manager to join the media & telecom product team. The Product Line Manager will be leading significant parts of the Kaltura’s TV Platform backend products.

The product line manager will work closely with tier 1 customer around the world. He will need to know how to translate customer requirements into feature requests, while driving the roadmap of the business backend components and building a generic product that fits all customer needs.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Design product vision, strategy, GTM and business plan
  • Define product features and roadmap
  • Define product pricing and lifecycle
  • Engage with our key customers and account teams to promote the product and gather requirements
  • Plan, develop and execute the product deliveries and documentation
  • Translate users’ needs into prioritized product requirements
  • Write product specifications and user stories. Work closely with engineering teams and UX/UI designers to deliver simple, usable and generic user interface.
  • Work with key technology partners

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in B2C / B2B2C product management
  • Experience in working with R&D teams in an agile environment
  • Experience in working with global tier 1 customers
  • Media & entertainment (TV and video) industry experience – an advantage
  • Proven ability to drive research, planning and build product strategy and business plans
  • Detailed oriented and data driven, with strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Team player with excellent communications and presentation skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
  • Excellent English skills – a must
  • Willing to travel to conferences and customer meetings
