The Role

We are looking for a MarCom Manager in Brazil with a strong background in PR/Communication, who will play a key part in executing and implementing successful public relations campaigns throughout the region with the clear goal of supporting Moovit driving high-level consumer brand awareness and increasing the businesses profile through earned media.


As a Field Marcom you will develop localized press stories and narratives for the Brazilian region that align with corporate messaging– help from planning stages through execution, tracking and performance analysis.


You will also localize and implement regional marketing and communication activities that support regional sales and partnership managers in order to increase Moovit’s brand awareness.


This role reports to the Marketing Director who is based in Israel (Moovit’s headquarters). The ideal candidate should be based in São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro and will require periodic travel, mainly domestically.


Areas of responsibilities:


  • Develop a localized media relations strategy, seeking high-level placements in print, broadcast and new media
  • Develop story ideas based on Moovit’s unique assets and data
  • Write and edit local news releases 
  • Translate corporate press releases (for global company announcements)
  • Establish and maintain good media relation at different levels, including traditional and new media
  • Manage Moovit’s Brazil PR calendar
  • Analyze the performance of Brazil’s PR and social media activities 



  • Localize corporate marketing tools such as the company’s website, presentations, brochures


Social Media

  • Manage the local social media channels (Facebook, Twitter)

Events & Tradeshows

  • Support local events including materials localization, staffing of booth, reach out and invite attendees, posting to the local social media channels


  • 2-3 years work experience in a PR agency, preferably serving the hi-tech, travel or transportation sectors 
  • Experience writing and editing news releases
  • Experience pitchings stories to and fostering relationships with key journalists 
  • Excellent communication skills and very strong writing skills
  • Creative thinker with both short and long-term strategic vision to help reach communication goals
  • A team player with a strong history of execution and a demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally
  • Highly organized, self-directed and passionate about showcasing Moovit’s amazing momentum to the public
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, including the ability to work independently and autonomously
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Fluent Portuguese and English
  • Analytical skills to measure and report on impact of PR campaigns
  • Understanding of social media (Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram).
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent experience
