Sr. Sales And Commissions Planning Analyst at Vectra AI

The Role

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Finance, the Sr. Sales and Commissions Planning Analyst will be responsible for managing sales quota and capacity planning, provide support on compensation planning and own the end to end commissions processes.  This position requires a detail oriented and innovative thinker who can interface with multiple functions and is critical to the success and scalability of supporting our rapidly growing WW Sales organization.  In addition, this role will be responsible for Sales related financial analysis and support.

 

Responsibilities

  • Create models and perform analyses in support of incentive compensation processes. Prepare and distribute sales compensation plans to global sales organization
  • Inherit and use a complex Excel-based sales compensation model – manage core data requirements in calculating sales commissions (i.e. sales hierarchy, target incentive, quota, bookings data, etc.); work towards implementing an automated solution
  • Prepare monthly commission reports, accruals, and payroll workbooks for Accounting; prepare and deliver monthly commission reports to Sales leadership team; prepare and deliver commission statements for all global Sales employees; build process to streamline this responsibility
  • Track, research, and resolve commission calculation-related inquiries and exceptions and interact with the Sales organization to address inquiries regarding quota credit and commissions
  • Partner with Sales Operations to streamline processes, set-up for scalability, and improve the end-to-end commission crediting process
  • Prepare sales attainment, productivity and other ad-hoc analyses
  • Provide world-class customer service to our Sales organization and internal customers, serving as the "go-to" resource for incentive compensation related questions

 

Ideal candidates will have:

  • At least 2-5 years of experience in a sales finance or sales compensation role
  • Power user proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g. macros, pivot tables, index and array formulas, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, operational and problem solving skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to manipulate large data sets and draw meaningful insights and recommendations
  • Self-starter with ability to be agile in a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and a customer service orientation
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize / multi-task in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with any commissions applications a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business or related field required
