Digital & Go To Market Lead (Director) at North
Kitchener City, Ontario, CA

About You:

You are an innovative, highly motivated and experienced senior leader with a strong digital background that includes E-Commerce and experience integrating multiple sales channels online and off-line with a common view of customer acquisition. You know how to make good decisions about digital marketing platforms, technology systems, e-commerce fundamentals and how to leverage online and off-line in a complementary manner. You are ROI driven, with a penchant for business tracking, demand forecasting, and quick optimization. You know how to calculate LTV, how to go about improving bounce rate and load speed, can advise on tech stack implementation, and can figure out how to start selling in a foreign market. You’re great at influencing in a matrixed environment and you have a bias for action.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage sales across our DTC retail showrooms, mobile showrooms, and e-commerce channels.
  • Manage business tracking for e-commerce, retail, and showrooms including goal-setting and reporting of KPIs.
  • Oversee demand planning and forecasting
  • Optimize our mobile showroom experience to manage cost and drive sales
  • Optimize our retail showroom with outbound sales strategies to drive traffic and sales training to drive conversion
  • Optimize our e-commerce experience to eliminate friction in the consumer journey to purchase
  • Clearly articulate and clarify detailed business requirements for engineering teams to deliver technical customer experience solutions online and in-store.
  • Establish the strategy and roadmap for North’s DTC digital, retail and third party customer experience from online acquisition to omnichannel conversion.
  • Align Care and Retail on a customer retention plan.
  • Work with the marketing team to manage web design briefing leveraging wireframing when necessary, for design and UX teams to deliver solutions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and engineering teams to review designs, prioritize features, clarify scope, and negotiate trade-offs as required to meet schedule and resourcing challenges.

What you’ll need:

  • BA or equivalent in Marketing, Business, Communication, or related studies
  • 10+ years of management experience
  • 5+ years of digital experience
  • 5+ years of leading and building teams
  • Superior organization and communication skills
  • A self-starter mindset with the organizational skills to flourish in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, team-oriented environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and remain flexible through changes
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills with the ability to meet quick deadlines
