Sales Account Manager at OnScale

OnScale is looking for an ambitious and energetic Sales Account Manager to join our Sales Department to play an important role in expanding our clientele and partnerships. In this position, you will be at the front of the company and will have the dedication to create and apply an effective sales growth strategy.

The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients.

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Build and promote strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers and partners by understanding their needs.
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Resolve conflicts and provide solutions to customers in a timely manner
  • Report on the status of accounts and transactions
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. monthly, quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Present sales, revenue and forecasts to the management team
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on revenue growth and customer satisfaction
  • Close new business deals by coordinating requirements; developing and negotiating contracts; integrating contract requirements with business operations.
  • Promote the company’s products addressing clients’ objectives
  • Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing accounts & territory

REQUIREMENTS

  • 2-3+ years of relevant, sales experience, preferably for a global CAE software company.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent
  • Successful previous experience as a sales account manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to travel, work independently and/or within a collaborative team structure
  • Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
  • Highly organized with critical attention to details
  • Strong functional use of Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
