Communicate complex technical information clearly, concisely, accurately and idiomatically. Create conceptual overviews and procedures, reading and writing example code and updating general queries and FAQs.

You will help us:

  • Responsible for technical communication to both internal and external partners that make up a complex ecosystem of Clients, Engineers, Product Managers, Developer Relations, Sales & Marketing, Users and Vendors.
  • Write concepts and APIs on Envoy, Istio, OpenTracing, OpenCensus, SkyWalking. Communicate and collaborate with OSS developers working relationship with OSS organization such as Apache and CNCF. Support enterprise developers using platforms and tools like spring, java application servers and .net frameworks

What you bring:

Minimum:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of relevant experience, such as technical writing, product documentation, or online publishing including experience with writing technical customer-facing materials.
  • Experience with source code written in Java, C++, Golang, Python and/or JavaScript.
  • 4 years of relevant work experience, including experience researching and writing excellent documentation for developers (APIs, SDKs, web technologies).
  • Proficiency working with HTML, CSS & UNIX.
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, fluid environment.

Preferred:

  • An ecosystem experience working with open source projects
  • Experience working across multiple time zones, highly distributed environment.
