Solutions Consultant - NYC at Movable Ink
New York City, NY, US

The Solutions Consultant is expected to team with the Movable Ink Sales and Client Experience Team to provide technical and subject matter expertise in pursuit of sales opportunities. The Solutions Consultant will be responsible for aligning Movable Ink’s solutions and technologies with both, prospect business goals and technical requirements. The Solutions Consultant will also facilitate a prospect’s transition to customer, owning the technical account setup process and setting customers up for success. Responsibilities include technical and business requirements gathering for both proposed Movable Ink solution and account setup, the effective positioning of Movable Ink solution to meet those requirements and branded product demonstrations of Movable Ink offerings addressing identified requirements. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of digital marketing processes and significant experience in developing and delivering demonstrations.

Responsibilities:

  • Be the “go-to” product expert for the Sales team
  • Work with the prospect or customer to understand their unique business challenges and initiatives
  • Gather, validate and QA technical requirements instrumental to a customer's account setup and successful on-boarding
  • Develop customized presentations, demonstrations and prototypes to prove the solution’s business value to the customer
  • Present high level overview of the product solution architecture and integration capabilities
  • Assist customers in transferring knowledge to ensure successful use of the solution            
  • Provide ongoing enablement and product communication to scale knowledge sharing

Basic Qualifications Needed:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of consultative technical sales experience working with customers
  • 2-3 years experience with SaaS solutions
  • Demonstrated proficiency coding advanced HTML, CSS and JavaScript

Preferred Qualifications Needed:

  • Strong understanding of interactive marketing processes and enterprise sales process and methodologies
  • Experience delivering presentations and demonstrations to senior level business and technical audiences
  • Experience with multiple integration techniques including Web Services and APIs
  • In-Depth of understanding in the email landscape and email marketing
  • Knowledge of ESP Platforms and web analytics solutions, such as Omniture a plus
  • Demonstrated design skills a plus
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; Salesforce a plus
